About the North Hills United Methodist Church Center (UMCC)
Located in the heart of North Hills East is the North Hills United Methodist Church Center. The
UMC is inclusive and is enriched by a diversity of races and cultures. The United Methodist
Church is noted throughout the world for its mission and educational programs and its interest
in social justice issues. All persons, regardless of their race, color, national origin, life situation,
social and economic condition are welcome to participate in its activities and worship.
Some of the activities and services at the Center include:
North Valley Caring Services programs
Head Start program
English as a second language classes
Sports programs for youth (basketball and others)
Zumba (exercise classes for women)
Breakfast for the Homeless program
Bible study groups
Prayer/healing groups
The North Hills UMCC is for the People!
For this reason, your opinion about what church center should be like matters. Please let us
know what your interests are. For instance, would you like to participate/learn more about any
of the following:
Joining a youth group
...women's group
...a men's group
Helping with the breakfast program for the homeless
Groups for discussion of community issues
Cooking classes
Sewing classes
Parenting classes
Classes in sexual education for your children
Bible study group
Prayer/healing group
Being part of a musical group, a choir, or a band
Participating in Sunday school
Teaching Sunday school class to adults and/or children
